Rude, disruptive and combative messages will NOT be tolerated on this bulletin board. If you have a complaint about a user or a thread, please report it to admin@ivfconnections.com as soon as possible. Do NOT deal with the problem yourself. We will try to address your concerns in a prompt manner, but please realize that this is just one board of many that we need to take care of. Controversial Topics If you must post a thread/reply on what may be a controversial topic, please be tactful, open-minded and polite. Insults and rudeness never do much to change a person's opinion or behaviour. If one of these discussions gets out of hand, the whole thread will be deleted regardless of the value of the rest of the thread. The bottom line is, if you can't say it nicely, don't say it at all. People's Feelings When replying to someone's thread, please be sensitive to that person's feelings. If someone is feeling sad or depressed it doesn't help to tell them that they shouldn't feel that way. It often makes the person feel worse. If you have advice to offer do it tactfully and remember that often people are just looking for someone to listen/empathize with them, not someone to solve their problems. Consequences Users that do not follow above guidelines will be warned or disabled from posting messages depending upon the circumstances. You may not always agree with all the messages or some of the rules, but we need to act in a manner that will make the boards a supportive place.
